Fayetteville recognizes economic and community development team during Economic and Community Development Week

Fayetteville, N.C. – The City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, has honored its Economic and Community Development (ECD) team with a formal proclamation during Economic and Community Development Week.

According to city officials, Mayor Colvin recognized the department for its work supporting a wide range of city initiatives, including managing federal grant funding and overseeing programs such as Homebuying Hero.

Officials said the ECD team also plays a key role in handling requests for qualifications (RFQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) related to local development projects.

City leaders expressed appreciation for the team’s contributions, stating that their work supports ongoing growth and helps strengthen the overall development of the community.
