Fayetteville, N.C. – The Fayetteville Fire Department in North Carolina highlighted recent community outreach efforts led by its Community Risk Reduction team aimed at improving fire safety awareness and emergency preparedness.
According to the department, team members spent part of the day with the “Spark Smart Explorers” fire safety club at Glendale Acres Elementary School, teaching students about fire prevention and safety practices.
Later in the day, the team partnered with firefighters from Station 3 to provide Hands-Only CPR training for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.
Fire officials said the outreach events are part of ongoing efforts to educate residents of all ages about life-saving safety skills and emergency response awareness throughout the community.
